From the initial meeting to educate me on roof shingle replacement to the follow up before starting the job, Mike the owner is the consummate professional. Mike walked me through every detail and didn’t assume I knew or didn’t know anything about my roof. Once his crew showed up, they worked tirelessly throughout the day to complete the job. I have a 2500 sg ft colonial home, so it was realistic to think that if could take two days. Josh the foreman was checking in with me throughout the day, which was a Saturday by the way, to make sure I was happy with everything. Josh showed up the day before to walk me through the process and showed up the Monday after to make sure I was happy with everything. I strongly recommend using these guys, I have had my roof priced from other contractors in the area and in some cases the cost was double.
Mike (owner), Josh (supervisor), and Jessica (office) did an amazing job of marketing and follow through. The whole operation took 3 days, day 1 dumpster & materials arrived, day 2 old roof gone/new roof on, day 3 dumpster gone. Josh did an excellent job of supervision and final touch ups and clean up. The crew did an excellent job. A very professional job by everybody from Rhino Back Roofing. I would recommend them to anybody.
Rhino Back Roofing was professional from day one. We had several contractors come to our home to inspect our roof and give us estimates for a new roof. Mike did a very complete inspection – far more than the other representatives from other companies. When he was done, he provided us with a very clear estimate for his services. He helped us to understand the entire process and what to expect every step of the way. Despite the difficult spring weather, he was excellent about communicating with us about when he would come to complete the project. When he and his crew arrived, we were very impressed with their quality of work, attention to detail, and seamless teamwork to complete the roof in less than a full day. The crew members were incredible! We have lots of delicate landscaping around our home and we were very concerned about the damage that might occur. When they were done cleaning up, we were astonished to see that nothing was damaged. Removing two layers of shingles and plywood is certainly messy, but their clean up far exceeded my expectations. Mike even came by after the dumpster was removed and did a final clean up and inspection. We have yet to find a nail or shingle around our house. The quality of the roofing materials and the roof guarantee was far better than others offered; yet Mike’s prices were the same as the others. His communication and follow-through also far exceeded my expectations. The final cost was actually a little less than his estimate and we could not be happier with the new roof.
They replaced my roof and all the wood under the shingles. They did a phenomenal job all in one day. They had 8 people working on it. Everything was done exactly when and how it was described. When at the last minute, I asked for a postponement until a day when we wouldn’t be home to hear all the noise, there was no problem. It looks great and the cleanup was perfect.
Rhino-Back did an excellent job, on time and on budget. They completed the work in one day and did a thorough job of post installation cleanup, even coming back after the job to clean up screened in porch that had roof removal debris in hard to reach places. My wife and I shopped this job the best we could. We requested quotes from four companies for our roof replacement, skylight replacement and chimney repair of which two of the companies were referred by neighbors. Two of the four were not able to quote the chimney repair but the quotes were itemized so we were able to compare apples to apples. The difference between the highest and the lowest was $1,500 on the roof replacement. The shingles offered were Corning and Timberline. We read every review we could find on both and found that Corning had a slight edge because it has a nailing strip. This wasn’t a make or break difference. We had four quotes from well-reviewed and experienced roofing contractors so we based our decision on who we thought would be the most likely to do the best job, expert and clear communication on remedy for existing roof leak and ice damming, the most likely to return to fix a problem, price and value. Rhino-Back Roofing was the clear choice. The job took three days, the roof looks great, the skylights fit perfect and the chimney looks awesome. The service was professional and the cleanup was good.
Love, love, love my new roof. An investment like this can be rather daunting but Rhino Back Roofing made it to easy. Out of the 5 contractors I reached out to, Mike spent the most time with us. He explained everything in detail, what he recommends, why he uses the products he does and answered all our questions. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell very passionate about his business. The team came and finished the roof in 1.5 days. They worked very hard, were very polite and did a good job cleaning up. The project manager Josh was onsite during the entire job and made sure everything was being done correctly and to answer any of our questions. The tiles we picked out look great on the house: Sedona Canyon. Its hard to tell from looking at a small sample. Mike worked with us, showed us multiple colors and also felt it Sedona Canyon would look good. Highly recommend Rhino Back Roofing. Thank you Mike, Josh and team!
Spent time figuring out our problem (ice dams and water damage) which happened to be structural. Replaced the roof on the full dormer, correcting the problem and moisture proofing. Done in less than a day and cleaned up as well. Knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.
Complete roof replacement on 1904 home in historic district. Cedar shakes under two layers of asphalt removed, complete new decking, ice and water shield, replaced flashing where needed. Complex job, lots of dormers and odd angles. Mike and his crew were professional, thorough, punctual and efficient. The whole thing finished on budget and on schedule. When we encountered an unanticipated situation, they worked with us to find an economical and effective solution. I felt like part of the process from start to finish. All aspects were explained thoroughly from the day of the estimate, which was much appreciated. They cleaned up the site very well when finished. They showed up,when they said they would, and finished when they said they would. All around a very positive experience.

We hired them to do a new roof and even though the job was complicated by our home’s structural problems, they took it in stride and were wonderful with communication.
