Does the idea of hiring a roofing contractor make you a little anxious? If so, you’re not alone. We can relate to this feeling, which might surprise you – considering we are a roofing company.
At Rhino-Back Roofing, we understand that hiring a contractor can be stressful. Your roof is essential to your home, and it’s hard to know who you can trust to work on it. We’ve been there, and that’s why we chose to do things very differently when we started Rhino-Back Roofing. As a small, family-owned business, we’re here for you: our customers.
Here’s a closer look at our values and the steps we take to ensure every customer has an excellent experience.
We start every roofing job the same way: by asking what we would want if we were installing this roof on our own home. As a couple with four kids, we understand how busy life can be and how important it is for any construction project to go smoothly for the homeowner. We also know our customers want roofs that stand the test of time, require as little maintenance as possible, and offer excellent curb appeal.
Keeping these needs and desires in the forefront from day one helps ensure we always create roofs that we are proud of and that give our customers joy and peace.
Are you tired of calling big companies, spending hours in their phone queues, and trying to talk to robots? So are we. We’re not a big or impersonal business and never will be. We are a small, family-owned company, and we work with other small, local businesses. When you call us, you’ll talk to a real person who listens, cares, and responds. (And when you pay us, you know the money stays in the local community!)
We know trusting someone to replace your roof is not always easy. The process probably feels unfamiliar to you, and you have a lot of questions about what your contractors are doing and what to expect. That’s why we focus on guiding every customer through the roof replacement or repair process.
Our in-office staff, as well as our on-site staff, are trained to answer your questions and explain things in an approachable, understandable way. There are no secrets in our process. We want you to know what we’re doing and why we are doing it.
We love when customers trust us with their roofs, but we do not want you to trust us blindly. We want you to trust us because we’ve taken the time to become experts in our craft. All of our roofers are highly trained, which allows them to work more efficiently and make fewer mistakes.
This enables us to complete most roofs in one day, and larger homes in 2 - 3 days. Our faster turnaround times mean a lower risk of rain exposure and fewer scheduling concerns for our customers.
When we first come to inspect your roof and make recommendations, we’ll recommend certain roofing materials to you. We have not come by these recommendations lightly. Instead, we have taken our time to search the market, try different materials, talk to other roofers, and decide which materials we believe genuinely offer the best value to customers.
Being so knowledgeable about various roofing products also helps us give you options. Tell us what you like and do not like about our first recommendation, and we can use that feedback to recommend a different material that’s more in line with your preferences. If we know a product won’t suit your needs, we’ll tell you so.
Many roofing projects end up being covered by homeowners insurance, but getting an insurance company to approve a claim can sometimes be a bit of a battle. Luckily, we are used to working with insurance companies and are more than familiar with their expectations. We’ll ensure all of our work complies with all building codes and insurance requirements. We’re on your side, and we want you to get as much of the project as possible covered by your insurance company.
We know our approach to roofing is a little unconventional, but that’s okay by us. We do things this way on purpose. Our goal is not to complete one-and-done projects but rather build working relationships with long-term clients who trust us with their homes and roofs.
If you need roof repairs or a roof replacement between Farmington Valley, CT, and Springfield, MA, we hope you contact us. Our friendly staff will gladly tell you more about our roofing process and schedule an in-person estimate.
