Roofing Job Story at Pinnacle Mountain Road, Simsbury, CT

After reading our great reviews on Angie's List, this Pinnacle Mountain Road 06070 customer contacted us looking for an estimate to replace the roof on their Simsbury CT 06070 home. They knew when they purchased the home that the original roof only had 1-2 years of life left and wanted to have the work done before winter to avoid any major problems with snow and ice. We were happy to provide a comprehensive inspection and estimate, noting that there was condensation occurring over the kitchen area that would need to be address-we recommended installing a rooftop exhaust fan with heat and moisture sensors to avoid any further issues. After the materials and dumpster were delivered the morning of the project our crew members quickly got to work tearing off 2 layers of shingles and the original roofing materials, taking great care to protect the surrounding landscaping and walkways. Once the roof was completely stripped down to the decking the exhaust fan was installed along with 2 box vents. We then installed new flashing around 2 chimneys and 3 ventilation pipes. A high-quality Ice & Water Shield was applied along all eaves, valleys, and other areas of the roof that required extra protection. A synthetic underlayment was installed on the rest of the roof surface, and lifetime architectural shingles followed in Estate Gray. Once the project was complete and the property completely cleaned up, the leftover materials and dumpster were hauled away. This Simsbury home looks great, and we are so happy to have helped give these wonderful homeowners the peace of mind that their home is fully protected from whatever the New England winter brings their way!
