This home on Lawton Drive in Simsbury CT 06070 was in need of a full roof replacement. After doing a thorough initial inspection and providing the customer with a comprehensive estimate we scheduled the project. The roofing materials were delivered the day before work was scheduled to begin, and a dumpster was delivered the following morning, taking care to protect the driveway and surrounding areas. Once all areas were trapped and fully protected our crew began the process of removing the existing shingles, stripping the roof down to the original decking. Upon inspection of the decking it because apparent that 12 sheets of plywood would need to be replaced on the Simsbury CT home due to water and mold damage. Once the decking was replaced we cut a new ridge vent on the breezeway section of the home, and replaced a small existing ridge vent on another area in order to provide adequate ventilation, which is crucial to the lifespan of the roof itself. Once this was completed we installed a high grade Ice & Water shield on all eaves, valleys, and high risk areas in order to ensure that the home was protected. A high quality synthetic underlayment was then applied to the Lawton Drive home, and we finished by installing beautiful new architectural shingles in an Estate Grey color. Once all of the roofing work was completed our crew cleaned the property thoroughly, and removed all leftover material and waste.
