Roofing Job Story at Kent Lane, Farmington, CT

We were highly recommended to this Farmington CT 06032 customer by her neighbor, a previous customer who was very happy with our work. The garage of this Kent Lane home was actively leaking in an area where an exterior chimney met the garage, and the main house roof itself was also in need of replacement. The morning work was scheduled to begin, a dumpster was delivered and our crew began covering and tarping off all areas surrounding the home to ensure that all platings/walkways/etc would be fully protected while the roof was being replaced. We then stripped the existing roofing materials down to the plywood decking, nothing that 2 sheets were in need of replacement. Once ensuring that the decking was properly nailed down, we reflashed 2 existing skylights as well as the problematic chimney. Once these were properly sealed we applied a high-quality Ice & Water Shield to all eaves, rakes, valleys, and vulnerable areas of the home. 2 bath vents as well as a rooftop exhaust fan were also installed, which provided the roof and attic areas with proper ventilation. We also installed a new ridge vent on the garage roofline. A synthetic underlayment was then applied to the remainder of the roof deck. Once this was all in place we then installed beautiful architectural shingles in an Estate Grey color, one of the more popular choices for the area. Our crews took great care in removing all material and debris from the property, and a second cleanup was done, leaving the Farmington CT home looking beautiful! This Kent Lane homeowner now has the assurance that the home is properly ventilated and is fully protected.
