This roofing project on, Terrace Rd West Hartford CT 06107, was done on a single story ranch style home with a walk out basement. We stripped Scott's roof down to the plywood. Which fortunately was in good condition . Scott is going to install new vinyl siding on the house in the spring. As part of that project he will be cutting intake ventilation openings in the soffit. That's the roof overhangs on thefront and back of the house. So in preparation for that we installed a new high flow ridge vent. We applied ice and water shield around the perimeter coming up 6 feef from the run off areas. The new Roofing system also included a very high quality underpayment and extra thick drip edge metal along with other important components. There is a very low pitch porch roof on the back of the house. So we covered that completely with a special high viscosity ice and water shield product. This was especially important because if that product wasn't used there would have been a chance of problems down the road in the transition spot where the low pitch porch roof meets the standard pitched main house roof. We really enjoyed installing a new roof for this great customer in West Hartford. Thanks again Scott!
